Catalytic Gas Treatment (CGT)™ Technology
TurboSonic offers Catalytic Gas Treatment (CGT)™ technology for the control of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs), such as formaldehyde and methanol.
Treating a wide range of alcohols and aldhehydes, CGT™ utilizes an environmentally friendly process to destroy VOCs without the production of harmful, combustion-related GHGs and NOx.

Benefits of CGT™
- Minimum maintenance; spare parts limited to typical fan and pump operation
- Minimal monitoring (pH control, peroxide and catalyst addition)
- Minimal supervision required
- Maximum uptime and reliability
- No non-renewable fuel use
- Instant on; no standby operating costs
- Simple water treatment; solids filtration
- No sensitivity to temperature; no cooling/air dilution required
- Small footprint
- Meets MACT standards for HCOH and MeOH
- Low blow down volume
- Biodegradable effluent
- Handles variations in VOC concentration
- No odor generation
- Avoids the production of secondary GHGs such as NOx, CO, CO2 and Methane = Reduced carbon footprint
- Aldehyde and alcohol removal efficiency > 90%
